Are you looking for fresh, locally grown produce for your summer weekend cookout? Then visit Robinson Memorial Hospital's Farmers Market! The market will be held outside, in the parking lot of the Robinson Medical Arts Building,
located at 6847 North Chestnut Street in Ravenna.
Several local farms
and businesses will have fresh fruits,
vegetables, baked goods, and other food products available for
purchase. Offering a farmers market right at the hospital provides visitors and surrounding neighborhoods convenient access to fresh,
nutritious foods that promote healthy eating habits and support local
businesses.
Robinson Health Education Center will provide free blood pressure checks and educational materials during the market from 2:30 to 4 p.m.
Not sure what to make for your cookout? Robinson Nutrition Services will provide cooking demonstrations or samples to taste, utilizing produce and goods from vendors and provide recipe cards for you to take home from 2:30 to 5 p.m.
Robinson Memorial Hospital's 2012 Farmers Market will occur every other Friday each month beginning in June:
