Kaiser Permanente of Ohio Adds Robinson Memorial Hospital to Its Network
New Relationship Formed to Serve Members in Portage County
Kaiser Permanente of Ohio has entered into an agreement with Robinson Memorial Hospital in Ravenna, Ohio, to provide hospital services for residents in Portage, Summit and adjoining counties.
Under this new arrangement, Kaiser Permanente members will receive care at Robinson Memorial Hospital and will also include access by Kaiser members to Robinson Memorial's PHO Network of over 140 primary care physicians and specialists in Portage County and surrounding communities.
"As our membership in Portage and Summit Counties grows, the addition of Robinson Memorial to our network is an important part of our goal of providing quality, affordable health care to our members," says Kaiser Permanente Associate Medical Director for Networks and Medical Management, Dr. Bruce Norman.
"We are pleased to offer Kaiser Permanente members the opportunity to receive quality care from this well-respected community hospital."
The offering of Kaiser Permanente in Portage County now offers convenience for those who have had to travel outside the county to receive their healthcare services.
"Robinson Memorial Hospital is pleased to welcome Kaiser Permanente to Portage County and surrounding communities," says Stephen Colecchi, President and Chief Executive Officer, Robinson Memorial Hospital. "This is just another example of Robinson Memorial's commitment to ensuring those within our service area can conveniently access our services without having to leave Portage County."
