The Home Care Aide is a paraprofessional member of the home care team/Hospice IDT who works under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or Therapist and performs various personal care services as necessary to meet the client's needs.
The Aide is responsible for observing clients, reporting these observations and documenting observations and care performed.
The Aide will be assigned in a manner which promotes quality, continuity and safety of the client's care.

Minimum Requirements
High school graduate or equivalent and is at least 18 years of age.
In good standing status on Ohio Department of Health Nurse Aide Registry, or completion of an aide or student nursing training program with supervised classroom training totaling at least 75 hours.
New hires will be required to receive a passing score on a Nurse Aide/Home Health Aide Evaluation test and successfully complete a Skills Demonstration during their orientation.
