Primary Duties
Plans organizes and directs all functions of the following departments: Step-Down, Intensive and Coronary Care. Manages and coordinates activities of personnel providing inpatient and outpatient services to the target population. Accountable for financial management of department, assuring high quality of care and patient satisfaction, and cost effectiveness. Provides leadership, and exhibits innovation and creativity. The Director works within the framework of the Hospital Mission, vision, goals, policies and procedures and the Patient Care Services Division Philosophy, goals and organizational model.

Minimum Requirements
Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing. The nursing school must be accredited by either the 1) National League of Nursing Accrediting Commission (NLNAC) or the 2) Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE). The school is also acceptable if it has been accepted into candidacy status for accreditation by either of these commissions. Bachelor’s degree in nursing required. Master’s degree in business or a health services related field preferred. If Master’s degree in nursing, BS may be in a related health care field.
Current license to practice professional nursing in the State of Ohio. Professional certification recognized by the ANCC required.
5 years of clinical experience in an acute care hospital and three years of continuous, progressive management experience.
