Aurora pediatricians join Portage Pediatrics - Streetsboro

Practice offers extended evening and weekend hours

Effective Jan. 18, Aurora pediatricians Sarah Tellalian-Adams, MD, and Doris Evans, MD, will join Portage Pediatrics - Streetsboro in the Robinson Health Center at Streetsboro at 9318 State Route 14.

 

Also effective in January, Portage Pediatrics in Ravenna and Streetsboro will begin offering same-day appointments for sick children and evening and Saturday hours.

 

These improvements help improve care for local children and make the practice more accessible to busy families.

Influenza A H1N1 (Swine Flu) and seasonal flu
Robinson Memorial Hospital is working closely with other Portage County health partners to properly administer the seasonal influenza vaccine and the Influenza A H1N1 (Swine Flu) vaccine. A schedule of vaccine clinic hours and other information will be coming soon. Updates are also available by calling the Robinson Memorial Hospital "Flu Line" at (330) 297-8887.

Due to increased influenza in the community, Robinson Memorial Hospital is continuing visitation restrictions implemented on Oct. 7 that allow only healthy visitors age 18 and older to visit patients. Please read our
news release for more information. Robinson Memorial Hospital's standard visitation policy is that only two people may visit a patient at once.

That number is (330) 672-6601 and is available from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. weekdays. Another source of information is 1(800) 232-4636, which is the national Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and is staffed around the clock.
