For the 10th consecutive year, Robinson Memorial Hospital was named as one of the Top 99 Employers in Northeast Ohio and honored with the Legacy Award by the Employers Resource Council.

The Ohio Organization of Nurse Executives 2012 Nursing Leadership Award was presented to Linda Breedlove.

Robinson Memorial Hospital was a recipient of the 2012 Medical Excellence Awards by The Delta Group Care Chex Quality Rating System in the categories of Cardiac Care, Women’s Health and Overall Medical Care placing the hospital in the top 10 percent of all hospitals in the country for clinical outcomes.

Robinson Memorial Hospital was a recipient of the 2012 Patient Safety Awards by The Delta Group Care Chex Quality Rating System in the categories of Cardiac Care, Pulmonary Care and Overall Medical Care placing the hospital in the top 10 percent of all hospitals in the country for patient safety.

Marion Hensley, RN, was Robinson Memorial’s designee at The University of Akron’s Cameos of Caring nursing gala, for her commitment to consistent decision making and excellence in nursing, and for her advocacy towards patients and their families.

Robinson Memorial Hospital earned a three-year re-accreditation by The Joint Commission for home health and hospice and all ambulatory sites.

The 2012 Employee Opinion Survey results placed Robinson Memorial near the 75th percentile in overall employee satisfaction.

Twenty-seven physicians with privileges at Robinson Memorial Hospital were named to Cleveland Magazine’s list of The Best Doctors in America® for 2012. The Robinson Memorial Hospital Foundation’s Employee Distinguished Service Award was presented to Sandra Haskell.

Robinson Memorial Hospital Foundation presented the 2012 Distinguished Service Awards to Dr. Robert Egdell, Dr. Gene Wenninger, and Bill and Eddye White.

Di Zisk was awarded the 2012 Service Excellence Superstar of the Year Award, which recognizes her commitment to patients, co-workers and the hospital.

Robinson Memorial Hospital’s excellent record keeping was rewarded with the 2012 Auditor of State Award.

Robinson Memorial Hospital received the Portage Environmental Conservation Award for its Green Strategies Committee and initiatives for green building.

Robinson Memorial Hospital’s Surgical Services Department received the New Renovation Award from the Ravenna Area Chamber of Commerce.

The Robinson Rehab Center and Sport Clinic earned the Outcomes Excellence Award for the 3rd quarter for 2012. This award was presented by Focus on Therapeutic Outcomes (FOTO), an organization that measures and reports on the effectiveness of physical therapy clinics across the nation.

Robinson Health Affiliates, Inc. was awarded the 2012 Continued Excellence Award by the Employers Resource Council Health Academy for outstanding dedication to employee health education and wellness.
