In May of 2010, Robinson Memorial Hospital announced the implementation of electronic medical record (EMR). It has been a long journey, but we are now in the home stretch and counting down the days until the entire hospital is officially implemented with EMR, March 18, 2013.
The EMR will provide patients with one secure electronic health record across all locations and services within Robinson Memorial Hospital and Robinson Health Affiliates, Inc. The system will also enable increased efficiency to
physicians, nurses and other clinicians, improving clinical outcomes and turnaround time for patient tests and procedures.
As a result of the technology, Robinson Memorial Hospital will be positioned to meet the expected “meaningful use” requirements of the American Reinvestment and Recovery Act (ARRA) of 2009.
