Robinson Memorial Hospital, in conjunction with Northeast Ohio Cardiovascular Specialists (NEOCS), has introduced a service to support your doctor in managing your heart failure condition. The Heart Failure Clinic is located on the first floor of the Robinson Professional Center on the hospital's main campus in Ravenna.

The goal of the Heart Failure Clinic is to educate patients about medications, lifestyle and dietary adjustments and strategies for monitoring their symptoms at home. The Heart Failure Clinic also educates patients about when to contact their health care provider so they can avoid worsening symptoms that may lead to hospitalization.

In addition, patients will be evaluated to determine if they may benefit from different medications, doses and/or from special pacing options now available for patients with persistent symptoms of heart failure.

Communicating with your primary care physician
The Heart Failure Clinic does not replace your primary care physician. Your doctor will receive a copy of your assessment and any medication adjustments or recommendations for further follow-up.

If you do not have a primary care physician, you will be given a referral to establish a relationship with a primary care physician.

Scheduling an appointment at the Heart Failure Clinic
Patients interested in treatment at the Heart Failure Clinic should discuss referral with their primary physician.

For more information, or to make a referral, please contact the Heart Failure Clinic by calling (330) 297-8295.
