Hospice is a special way of caring for individuals with a life-limiting illness who have a life expectancy measured in months rather than years. Volunteers are an integral part of a team that provides holistic care, focusing on the physical, emotional, spiritual and practical needs of the patient and family. Volunteers are people just like you who support the Hospice philosophy and give generously of their time and talent in a wide-variety of ways. Thorough training is provided in all areas and offered twice yearly, spring and fall. Support Services training is year round.
