With a strong interest in enhancing employee health and fitness at Robinson Memorial Hospital, Chuck and Betsy Mangin, of Kent, have made a significant donation to establish The Chuck and Betsy Mangin Employee Fitness Room at Robinson Memorial Hospital.
The newly established room is being used for employee fitness and wellness programs, including yoga, zumba, weight training, body-sculpting and other fitness classes. Previously, employee fitness programs took place in various rooms throughout Robinson Memorial Hospital, making consistent scheduling of classes more difficult.
“It is wonderful to have a room totally dedicated to employee fitness classes and programs,” said Deborah Solan, Executive Director of the Robinson Memorial Hospital Foundation. “Our employees are thrilled to be able to participate in fitness programs during their lunch hours, after work and other times of the day. We are grateful for the support of Chuck and Betsy Mangin for making this room a reality.”
“As a former business owner, I realize the value of focused and dependable employees. The opportunity to have an environment to encourage employees’ fitness and recreational activity seems very fitting. Betsy and I are pleased to provide this opportunity,” said Chuck Mangin, President of the Robinson Memorial Hospital Foundation.
