Foundation 18th Annual Golf OutingRaises More than $28,000

More than 200 golfers from throughout Northeast Ohio participated in the Robinson Memorial Hospital Foundation’s 18th Annual “A Different Kind of Golf Outing” on July 18 at Windmill Lakes Golf Course in Ravenna.
The event raised more than $28,000 for the Foundation which supports many patient care areas within the hospital. Since its inception, the golf outing has raised more than $500,000.
Corporate sponsor for the event was Allen Aircraft Products. Tournament sponsor was Altercare Centers for Rehabilitation & Nursing Care. Hole sponsors were Area Agency on Aging, Ashton Sound and Communications, Aurora Manor Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation, AVI Food Systems, CornerStone Medical Services, Dixon Hughes Goodman LLP, Dr. Robert Egdell, Judge Joseph Giulitto, HFP/Ambuske Architects, Honeywell, Inpatient Medical Services, J.W. Didado Electric, Knox Marketing, Northeast Ohio Medical University, Ohio Foot & Ankle Center, Portage Community Bank, Portage Physical Therapists, Record-Courier, Roetzel & Andress, Summa Health Network and Summa Health System.
Many additional individuals and businesses participated by providing foursomes, cart sponsorships and donations.
Morning tournament winners were a men’s foursome sponsored by Joe Ruby, Area Agency on Aging, and the mixed team from CornerStone. Afternoon tournament winners were HFP/Ambuske Architects, men’s team; Maureen Wegenek and Printer’s Devil, mixed team; and Aurora Manor Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation, women’s team.
